About the Asian Association of Community Wellness (AACW)
Our mission at AACW, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to enhance the overall well-being and health of Asian communities in the US. We believe in a holistic approach that respects cultural nuances and fosters a supportive environment for individuals and families. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to break down barriers, reduce stigma, and provide accessible resources for a healthier, more resilient community.
Our Vision: To empower Asian communities through comprehensive wellness programs, research, and advocacy, creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Our Values:
Bridging Generational Gaps within Asian Communities
We recognize the unique challenges that arise from generational gaps within Asian communities. Our programs are designed to address these gaps, fostering understanding and harmony between different generations. Through intergenerational activities, educational workshops, and family counseling, we aim to bridge cultural and generational divides, creating stronger family units and more cohesive communities. Our programs aim to address unique challenges among adolescents, middle-aged adults, and elderly adults within Asian communities.
