Programs and Services

AACW offers a diverse range of programs tailored to meet the unique needs of different ​age groups within the Asian community. Our services are designed to promote wellness and ​mental health for all ages, from adolescents to the elderly.


Adolescents:

  • Mental Health Counseling: Providing culturally sensitive individual and group counseling ​sessions to support the mental well-being of adolescents facing academic and social ​pressures.
  • Educational Workshops: Offering workshops on stress management, healthy ​relationships, and academic success to help adolescents navigate their formative years.


Middle-Aged Adults:

  • Community Workshops: Conducting educational sessions on wellness, stress ​management, work-life balance, and healthy living to help middle-aged adults maintain ​their mental and physical health.
  • Family Consultation: Facilitating family counseling sessions to address ​intergenerational conflicts and improve communication within families.
  • Career Development Programs: Providing resources and support for career ​advancement, job transitions, and professional growth.


Elderly Adults:

  • 4-Week Interactive Technology Bootcamp: A comprehensive program designed to ​teach elderly adults essential technology skills. This bootcamp includes:
    • Week 1: Introduction to Computers and Internet Basics - Understanding hardware, ​navigating the internet, and using email.
    • Week 2: Social Media and Communication Tools - Learning to use social media ​platforms, video calling apps, and messaging services to stay connected with family ​and friends.
    • Week 3: Online Safety and Security - Identifying and avoiding online scams, ​understanding privacy settings, and safe online shopping.
    • Week 4: Utilizing Online Resources - Exploring online health resources, ​entertainment options, and community services.
  • Senior Wellness Programs: Organizing activities and classes focused on physical ​fitness, mental stimulation, and social engagement to promote overall well-being in ​elderly adults.
  • Intergenerational Activities: Creating opportunities for elderly adults to engage with ​younger generations through storytelling, cultural exchanges, and community events.



Our Impact

Since our inception, AACW has:


  • Supported over 80 adolescents with vital mental health resources and leadership programs, helping ​them build resilience and succeed academically and socially.


  • Reached 100 middle-aged adults through our community workshops and family counseling ​sessions, promoting healthier lifestyles and stronger family bonds.


  • Assisted 50 elderly adults with our senior wellness programs and health screenings, enhancing their ​quality of life and fostering a sense of community.



Asian Association of Community Wellness is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
